Field Services first to win Safety Award
November 29, 2018
EthosEnergy’s Field Services team are the first contractor to win Shell Deer Park’s HELM (Hazard Elimination by Leading and Mentoring) Stop Work Travelling team recognition award. The team was given the award for proactive participation in the site’s Stop Work Program to prevent accidents and injuries for contractors at the site.
The decision was announced at the 2018 Contractor Safety Meeting for Shell Deer Park, the largest and oldest of Shell’s manufacturing sites in North America.
The monthly award had previously only been awarded to employees, but thanks to the onsite leadership of Donnie Tanner (Field Foreman) and Jed Dominy (Onsite Safety Manager Shell Deer Park) the first ever recognition of a contractor was awarded to EthosEnergy Field Services.
Mark Jones, Vice President Operations at EthosEnergy said, “We feel honored to be selected first for this award at Shell Deer Park.”
“Our personnel really earned this award, and we are proud to have them recognized and look forward to earning it back in the future.”
Brian Johnson, Gulf Coast Regional Safety Manager at EthosEnergy, said, “Our employees at the site regularly and proactively utilize Stop Work to prevent accidents and injuries for EthosEnergy employees as well as other contractors on the site.”
Congratulations to all of the team at Shell Deer Park for the achievement!
